ABOUT

Our Story

The Clark County Casting & Conservation Club is invested in helping to conserve the Ohio River for future generations. In 1935, the Clark County Casting & Conservation Club was founded by a group of conservationists, whose primary pillar was to preserve the Ohio River, the green space and the wetlands in our unique community. The Clark County Casting & Conservation Club Foundation is the natural extension of those efforts. We continue to value family, relationships, community, and outdoorsmanship. Your donations to the CCCCC Foundation support our club to continue these efforts as well as benefiting others in our area.

The original clubhouse was torn down in 2012 and a new clubhouse was built to replace it.  The new clubhouse is able to host many more members, either at the bar, in the dining area or out on the covered patio. The original "Dance Hall" remains, but had a renovation in 2015.  The original wooden floor remains in the Dance Hall and many weddings, receptions, retirement parties, birthday parties and other celebrations have been held there.

Both buildings have an amazing view, as they sit directly on the banks of the Ohio River.  The Shelter House has been in existence for over 25 years, but in 2023, an outdoor bar was added and makes for a great place to gather with family and friends and just watch the barges, boats and sailboats out on the river.
